এসএসসি ও এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার মার্কশিট ( প্রাপ্ত নম্বর সহ) -- ২০০১ থেকে ২০১৬

Mark sheets of Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary Certificate examinations will go online, said education board officials.

Students will also get printed mark sheets paying fees, they added. "We will upload statements on subject wise marks of the examinees on website very soon and then students will be able to get their mark sheets on the website", said inter-education board coordination subcommittee chairman Mahbubur Rahman, also Dhaka Education Board chairman.

The board chairman said that mark sheets of all SSC, HSC and equivalent examinees would also be available on the website. The implementation of the decision would allow the SSC and HSC examinees to know their subject-wise marks after a gap of 15 years.

The government introduced letter grading system for SSC and HSC examines in 2001 and 2003 respectively. The education boards now provides grade sheet which does not contain subject-wise marks. Boards came up with the decision as the High Court in 2015 asked them to provide the students with marks sheets on demand, said board officials.

The High Court on April 21, 2015, asked the Dhaka Education Board to develop a system for providing scripts and mark sheets to HSC and SSC examinees on demand. Providing students with no script and mark sheet is a violation of the fundamental right, said the court verdict in a writ petition filed by an examinee in 2010.

Inter-education board coordination subcommittee had forwarded a proposal to education ministry for issuing mark sheet for SSC and HSC students on April 28 and the ministry gave its nod, the board officials said.

In the grading system, students are provided with grade sheets in which students come to know their grade points and cumulative grade point average - 'A+' for 80-100 marks, 'A' for 70-79 marks, 'A-' for 60-69 marks, 'B' for 50-59 marks , 'C' for 40-49 marks, 'D' for 33-40 marks and 'F' for 0-32 marks.
